What is an HWD ID?

An HWD ID (Hardware ID) is a unique fingerprint derived from your server's hardware. OMNI licenses are bound to this ID — not to a user account or operator name. This means you can run OMNI with any number of operators on the licensed machine, but moving the license to a different server requires a re-bind (contact support).

How many operators can use one license?

There is no operator limit per license. A Standard license covers a single deployment (one HWD ID). Within that deployment, the number of simultaneous operators is not capped by licensing. Multi-operator collaboration features are on the roadmap.

Is OMNI only for authorized engagements?

Yes. OMNI is designed exclusively for authorized penetration testing, red team engagements, and security research. Misuse for unauthorized access is prohibited under our Terms of Service and applicable law. Every subscription includes acknowledgment of authorized-use-only terms.

How does volume pricing work?

Volume discounts are based on the total number of HWD IDs in your order. Each ID is a separate license for a separate deployment. Discounts are applied per billing cycle — contact sales to set up a volume agreement. All licenses in a volume agreement carry identical full-platform access.

What's the difference between the PS agent and C# agent?

The PowerShell agent prioritizes compatibility and runs in any standard PS session. The C# agent is compiled and loaded reflectively — it has a smaller footprint, avoids script block logging, and is better suited for environments with tight AV/EDR coverage. Both are available on every license.

Do I need a dedicated server?

OMNI ships as a Docker-based stack. You'll need a VPS (1 vCPU / 2 GB RAM minimum). We recommend a clean Ubuntu 22.04 instance. Setup takes under 15 minutes following the quick-start guide.
